    Love it, it’s beautiful!

Thanks Indigene. That was quick! 🙂

That was incredible! I love all the images, the video, and the music! The one thing I did get to do on my “vacation” was spend a bit of time in the creek behind our replacement cabin. That was so relaxing, and invigorating! Water is wonderful 🙂

Thanks Shari! It was pretty easy, once you learn a few iMovie tricks. I think I’ll be making a bunch more of these. I love my new iPhone – so easy to pull out anywhere and take video or stills. And I agree, water *is* wonderful!!!! Splash!!

    Agree. Absolutely TOO. MUCH. FUN.

      😀

  • Tracie Nichols Wed - Aug 15th 2012 5:50 am

My favorite part was your glowing smile at the end 🙂

    • Joanna Wed - Aug 15th 2012 7:06 am

      THanks Tracie!

Joanna, just beautiful. I really liked how you used the ripples in the water, very clever. Thanks for sharing.

    • Joanna Wed - Aug 15th 2012 7:44 am

Thanks Debbie. When I discovered the Ripple transition in iMovie, how could I *not* use it, with this subject matter? 🙂

Loved flowing through the waters and place. The music felt like a Steinway (waters gurgling brightly and cleanly over rocks) on guitar. I could feel the strings vibrating with their watery waves of their own. Wonderful video composition for this Wednesday morning. Thank You.

    • Joanna Wed - Aug 15th 2012 8:39 am

Thank you Jordan. Your words sound like this video feels. 🙂

      • Jordan Hoggard Wed - Aug 15th 2012 9:21 am

You’re welcome. And, a big ole watercolor smile to you. 😀

p.s. the bronze yoga posing statue out in the water on the rock is . . . smiles, no words.

Yes, isn’t she grand? She is called “Grace.” And she is a piece of guerilla artwork, installed surreptitiously under the cover of night last fall by an anonymous artist who didn’t want to follow the city’s guidelines for public art. They were going to take it down, but decided to let it stay after a public outcry. I just love her.

          • Jordan Hoggard Wed - Aug 15th 2012 12:50 pm

Grand, indeed! The Regulatory Agency Expert Witness Geek in me who like to bbq opposing counsel with a laugh LOVES the guerilla way the art was placed, and then the public outcry tieing the backlash from the City Guidelines into a birdsnested reel. 🙂 That makes me smile. “Grace”, then, is quite the graffitti. Random acts of beauty all the way.

Thanks Joyce. I will indeed make some more!

Wonderful video, Joanna. I signed up for the Vivenne’s newsletter, so I can know when she offers this class again. Love to make videos as lovely as yours.

    • Joanna Tue - Aug 21st 2012 9:47 am

Oh good, Shell, you will love the course I am sure!

The video was beautiful, Joanna. I felt magic and a sincere love and respect for the waters wafting out from it!
I’ve wanted to do similar things and I love taking the videos and the photos but it’s the hours of editing and putting things together that makes me want to pull my hair out! I’m glad you have the patience for that part and shared this with us!
