Congratulations! What a beautiful altar. I love the henna, too. It sounds like it was a memorable and meaningful ceremony. Good luck to her!

The altar is lovely and the henna is a wonderful touch. Wonderful way to welcome her into womanhood.

Oh you are all so sweet. Thank you for your comments. Chloe was a fantastically patient young woman. It was a beautiful Ceremony, and Chloe demonstrated she matches her Mother when it comes to grace. I’m so thankful to have been there 🙂

One of my favorite passages. How lovely! I did a passage for a young woman (ritual is up on the internet in a few places including my own site). It moves me to tears to know that we don’t ignore these moments in life.

Funnily enough we have just been through a very similar process…
It is so beautiful to see and feel the steps of the SeedGoddess… the Daughter…
    May She keep us!

Ahhhhhhhh. What a lucky woman she is.
My memories revolve around a bathroom and a tampon and mom on the other side of the door knocking and asking if she can help. She couldn’t and neither could the tampon. Oi. Wearing a bikini to the beach wearing a huge pad. That is the entire extent of my first menstrual event.
This was a lovely gift to give her.
