Update: A couple of people asked to buy prints, so I set up a page for it. I’ll donate the profits to Red Cross tsunami relief.

I loooove my morning practice. I’ve written about it more than once in this blog. It changes and adapts over time, to meet my changing needs. It currently involves my iPod, a green smoothie, and a certain Tarot deck. ;-)
The lovely Goddess Leonie put together this gorgeous free ebook featuring the morning practices of 20 fabulous Goddess women. I’m happy to be one of them. Click here to download!
What does your morning practice look like, dear Reader?

Every time I walk a labyrinth, it’s a different experience. It’s often calming and centering, and puts me into a space where I can hear the still, small voice within. Last night (Autumn Equinox & Harvest Moon) I participated in a community walk at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new public labyrinth here in Bellingham. As I walked the rounds, I felt sheer joy, a sense of belonging and deep gratitude. I feel very grateful to live in a community where even the mayor shows up for a dedication like this. I loved running into old friends and mermaid sisters and meeting a few new folks too.
I am also grateful to the members of Project Labyrinth who raised funds and worked hard to make their vision a reality. I plan on sponsoring 2 or 3 of the engraved pavers to help the cause. I think I’ll put my granddaughter Gracie’s name on one of them. Then, when she comes to visit me, I will take her to the labyrinth and show her the paver with her name and tell her she is always close to Grandma’s heart.
