Last Friday, I wrote about the grief and loss I was experiencing as we prepared to put our island house, Heron House, up for sale. Moving back was the last thing on my mind. When I shut that door six years ago, I slammed it pretty tightly. I was content living in town. I was blooming where I was planted.
Even though I knew about the Full Moon Eclipse and the Grand Cross and how it had the potential to shake things up, I really didn’t think it was going to affect me personally. Hah. From Craig’s first comment of “Maybe we should move back to the island and sell our Bellingham house instead” — which hit me like a lightning bolt out of the blue — to the final decision to actually do it, took no more than a week. The Full Moon / Eclipse week. During those seven days, there were many discussions weighing pros and cons, sleepless nights, and much emotional turmoil. But we are in harmonious agreement: we are moving back!
I will write a longer post about it soon. Right now I need to focus on getting the Bellingham house ready to go on the market by May 1st. Wish me luck!
Meanwhile, here are a few of my favorite archived posts I wrote about living on the island:

A few things that lit me up this week:
Ellen Lorenzi-Prince released the companion book for her Dark Goddess Tarot in digital and print formats!
The opening of the Gaian Soul Circle, an online gathering place for “everyday mystics, healers and creatives.” There is a lovely group of people gathered there already, with more coming in every day. I am really thrilled to be creating online community again.
And I am really lusting after this bracelet; I’ll put it on my wish list.
