What a lovely sight! The blue bird is stunning. What kind of bird is that?
It’s a Steller’s Jay, Ellen-Mary. Part of the corvid family, cousin to Raven and Magpie and Crow. And Blue Jay, of course. Native to the western states; you’ll never see one where you live! But then again I never saw a cardinal until two years ago when I saw one in Beth Owl’s woods in North Carolina.
